This new Villa Kokkini takes its name  from the small village of Kokkini. It was built  in 2003/2004,and is situated on the top of a small hill in a very quiet and isolated area, away from neighbouring houses, main streets, bars and discos. 
Kokkini is  in the middle of Corfu island  10km from Corfu town and airport, 4.5km from Corfu golf club and Ermones, and  3.5 km from the wonderful sandy beach of Mirtiotissa (where the left side of the beach is reserved for  naturist bathing and  the right side  for families).

Approximately 5km away is the long sandy beach of Glyfada, where you will find all kinds of watersports and  about 1.5km from the villa is  the famous  Aqualand of Corfu, which boasts the 3rd largest wave pool in the World! The villa is ideally placed for visiting the north or the south of the island each being only an hour's drive away. The small village of Kokkini is situated on the top of the  hill  opposite the villa. This is a quiet Greek village where tourists seldom venture and you will find just a couple of 'kafenia' (where you could while away a morning drinking ouzo and Greek coffee with the locals!)  and a small mini-market.

However,  only  1km from the villa you will find  a larger Mini market, Taverna, Cafe and Petrol station. There is also a bus stop on the main road, only 500m from the villa, and during the busy months of July and August a bus to either Corfu town or to the local beaches (via Vatos) passes every two hours (at other times the buses run every 3 hours).
In Vatos (4km from the villa) you  will find more Tavernas and Cafes. Villa Kokkini consists of 3 floors, on the ground floor is a spacious living room with fireplace, to one side is a  large modern kitchen and to the other side a king size corner bathroom with washing machine.

From the ground floor stairs lead to the first floor where there are  four bedrooms (1x master double and 3x twin-bedded rooms )  together with a sizeable WC/bathroom. On the second floor, under the roof is the 5th capacious double bedroom  with en suite WC/shower and a small balcony with panoramic views to the village of  Kokkini,  the golf  course and a  modest sea view.  The villa is fully air-conditioned and heatedg and the living room is connected with a SAT-TV. The villa offers extensive balconies and verandas with plenty of tables and chairs, where you can sit to relax and enjoy your peaceful holiday. Around the pool area you will  also find   sun beds and a built-in BBQ. To the side of the house is ample car parking space. Vatos is a quiet village on the mid-west coast of corfu island, 13 km from Corfu town & airport, 900 m from The Golf club of Corfu and 1500 m from Ermones beach and the wonderful naturist beach of Mirtiotissa.
