welcome to GOUVIA Corfu (Kerkyra)

Approximately 4 km long and 1 km wide, Gouvia in Corfu has become one of the most popular tourist destinations on the island, offering both lively nightlife and quiet hillside spots. The resort has a definite nautical ambience due to the Gouvia Marina. It boasts a large yacht marina and was once a historic Venetian naval base. At one end of the beach of Gouvia you will find a ruined Venetian arsenal and the precariously beached wreck of a yacht. Adjoining Gouvia is the village of Kontokali while 1 km inland is Danilia, a purpose-built, Greek-style village where folklore performances are organised for evening trips.
